Shipping
We ship to US addresses only. International shipping is not available yet.
Processing
Orders placed before 4:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day ship the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day.
If an order is going to take longer than that, we email you before we ship — and you can cancel for a full refund at that point, no questions.
Rates and delivery
Shipping cost is calculated individually for each order, based on the products in your cart — their weight and size determine the rate. There's no flat rate to quote here: enter your delivery address at checkout to see the exact cost before you pay.
Delivery windows are the carrier's estimates, not guarantees. The shipping cost shown at checkout is the entire shipping cost — we do not add handling, processing or insurance charges on top of it.
Every order ships with tracking. You get the number by email when the label is created.
Sales tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
If something goes wrong
Package late, lost, or arrived damaged? Email alex@thurlex.com within 30 days of the ship date. We chase the carrier and either replace the order or refund it. You do not have to negotiate with a carrier on our behalf.
If an address turns out to be wrong or undeliverable, email us as soon as you know. We will reship to a corrected address for the cost of shipping, or refund the order.
Where we ship
We ship to all 50 states. Knife and blade laws vary by state, county and city — it's your responsibility to know what applies where you live before you order. We don't maintain a state-by-state block list; that's the same approach Leatherman and Gerber take, and it fits our lineup, since nothing we sell is automatic-opening or assisted-opening. If we ever learn an order can't lawfully be delivered, we cancel it and refund you in full.
