You must be at least 18 years old to buy from Thurlex. By placing an order you confirm you are 18 or older. We may cancel and refund any order where we have reason to believe that is not the case.
Know the rules where you live
Knife and blade rules vary by state, county and city. A tool that is legal to buy may still be regulated where you carry or keep it. Before you order, check what applies to you — we cannot advise on it, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
Where we ship
We ship to all 50 states. We don't maintain a state-by-state block list — the same approach Leatherman and Gerber take, and it fits our lineup: nothing we sell is automatic-opening or assisted-opening, the category most state restrictions target. It's still your responsibility to know the knife and blade laws that apply where you live before you order. If we ever learn an order can't lawfully be delivered, we cancel it and refund it in full — we would rather lose the sale.
What we do not sell
We do not make or sell automatic knives, assisted-opening knives or switchblades. Our folding knives open manually and lock.
Use these tools safely
Blades, axes and hammers cut and crush. Read any instructions supplied with a tool, keep edges covered when not in use, keep tools out of reach of children, and wear eye protection when striking or splitting. If a tool is damaged, stop using it and contact us.

We work to keep specifications, images and guidance accurate, and we correct errors when we find them. Care and sharpening guidance on this site is general information, not professional instruction.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Thurlex is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site. Nothing here limits the implied warranties, or any other rights, that California and federal law give you and that cannot be waived, including under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and the Consumers Legal Remedies Act. Because we give a written warranty, we do not disclaim implied warranties.
Governing law
This notice is governed by the laws of the State of California. It does not limit non-waivable consumer rights under the law of the state you live in.
